Early Life
Henry Davis was born in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1951. He is a third-generation beef entrepreneur. His grandfather started the business in 1920. Davis graduated from the University of Denver in 1973, majoring in business and minoring in computer science.
Rise to Success
Davis joined the family business and inherited it in 1987 at the age of 36. Under his leadership, the company grew significantly, becoming a major player in the beef processing industry. In 1990, he computerized the whole operation. In 1992, he added value to the slaughter house operation by launching a production line for boxed beef. Davis expanded the company's reach to 69 countries.
