Evangelos Mytilineos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1954. He graduated from the Moraitis School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Athens and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. In 2019, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Department of Business Administration and Management at the University of Piraeus.
