Early Life
Eduardo Francisco Costantini was born on September 17, 1946, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He grew up in a middle-class family with seven children. His father worked in multiple jobs to support the family. Costantini displayed entrepreneurial spirit early, working to support his family.
Rise to Success
Costantini earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Universidad Católica Argentina in 1971 and a master's degree in quantitative economics from the University of East Anglia, England in 1975. He began his career in finance, working as a stockbroker and later as the vice-president of Banco Francés del Río de la Plata from 1991 to 1994. In 1991, Costantini founded Consultatio Asset Management and Consultatio SA. Consultatio SA is a real estate development company that would go on to create Nordelta, the largest real estate venture in Argentina.
Key Business Strategies
Costantini's key business strategies include a focus on high-end real estate projects. He introduced the concept of master-planned communities in Argentina, with projects like Nordelta and Puertos. He expanded into the US market with projects such as Oceana Key Biscayne and Oceana Bal Harbour in Miami. He recently closed a strategic partnership with Argencons to expand in the residential market.
Philanthropy
Costantini is the founder and chairman of the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), which showcases a collection of Latin American art. He has donated significantly to the museum.
