Rise to Success

Pumpyansky began his career as a metals trader in the 1990s and then oversaw several metal plants in the Urals region. He took over the Sinarsky Pipe Factory and joined TMK ( тру́бная metallurgícheskaya kompániya), a Russian global manufacturer of steel pipes for the oil and gas industry, in 2002.
