Early Life
Daniel Lubetzky was born in Mexico City in 1968 to Jewish parents who were Holocaust survivors. At the age of 16, he moved to the United States. Lubetzky earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and international relations from Trinity University and a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School in 1993.
Rise to Success
In 1994, Lubetzky founded PeaceWorks Inc., a "not-Only-for-profit" business pursuing both peace and profit, which specialized in selling items produced by groups in conflict. In 2004, he launched KIND Healthy Snacks, driven by the vision of creating healthy and tasty snacks. KIND quickly became a successful brand. In 2020, Mars, Inc. acquired a majority stake in KIND for a reported $5 billion. Lubetzky retained a financial stake and remains involved in the company's operations.

He is also involved with the Lubetzky Family Foundation, which focuses on fostering critical thinking and civil dialogue.
