Charlotte Söderström was born Charlotte Persson in 1977 in Sweden. She grew up in Djursholm, Sweden, as the middle child of Stefan Persson and Pamela Persson. Her father, Stefan Persson, is the former CEO of Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), and her grandfather, Erling Persson, founded H&M in 1947.
