Early Life and Education
Carlie Irsay-Gordon was born on September 29, 1980, in Dallas, Texas. Her family moved to Indianapolis when she was three years old. She attended the Park Tudor School and graduated in 1999. Irsay-Gordon pursued her higher education at Skidmore College, earning a bachelor's degree in religious studies with a minor in geoscience in 2005. Later, she began coursework towards a PhD in clinical psychology through Argosy University but did not complete her boards.
Rise to Success
Irsay-Gordon's career with the Indianapolis Colts began in the ticket office. She advanced through marketing and sales roles, gaining experience within the organization. She represented the team at ownership meetings from 2004 and became a vice president in 2008. In 2012, she and her sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, were announced as co-owners of the Colts. In 2025, following the death of her father, Jim Irsay, she assumed the roles of owner and CEO of the team.
