Donald M. "Bubba" Cathy was born on April 22, 1954. He is the younger brother of Dan T. Cathy. Before attending college, Bubba gained hands-on experience by operating a Chick-fil-A in Southlake Mall in Morrow, Georgia.
Rise to Success
Bubba's career at Chick-fil-A began in the early 21st century. He was officially named senior vice president of Chick-fil-A, Inc. in 1995. Today, he serves as the executive vice president and president of the company's Georgia-based Dwarf House and Truett's Grill restaurant concepts. Bubba is also the Chairman of STC Brands, which is a holding company for Chick-fil-A's various restaurant concepts. Under Bubba Cathy's leadership, Chick-fil-A has grown into one of the most successful restaurant chains in the United States.
