Beatriz Davila de Santo Domingo was born on March 7, 1939, in Santa Marta, Colombia. She pursued studies in Art and Decoration at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá. Her passion for the arts led her to co-found the Galería Deimos and the Escuela de Artes y Oficios, promoting Colombian craftsmanship.
Rise to Success
In 1975, Beatriz married Julio Mario Santo Domingo, a union that significantly expanded her involvement in the family's business empire. After her husband's death in 2011, Beatriz took over the management of the family's extensive business interests. She controls over a third of the Santo Domingo family's Luxembourg-based holding company, with significant shares in Anheuser-Busch InBev, the largest brewer in the world. The family also holds stakes in Keurig Dr. Pepper, Kraft Heinz, and JDE Peet's.
