Early Life
Avram Glazer was born on October 19, 1960, in Rochester, New York, to Malcolm and Linda Glazer. He attended Pittsford Mendon High School and was named the Junior Achievement Outstanding Young Businessman of the Year in 1978. Glazer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis in 1982 and a Juris Doctor degree from American University in 1985. He also studied at Emory University School of Law, Peking University, and Fudan University in Shanghai.
Rise to Success
Glazer is a co-chairman of Manchester United, a position he has held since 2005. During his tenure, Manchester United has won numerous trophies, including Premier League titles and the Champions League. Glazer has been an owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 1995. The Buccaneers have won two Super Bowls during the Glazers' ownership.
