Early Life
Andrii Mykhailovych Verevskyi was born on July 25, 1974, in Poltava, Ukraine. He studied agronomics at the National Agrarian University and also attended Oxford College. His early career began in the grain market in 1993, laying the foundation for his future ventures.
Rise to Success
Verevskyi's entrepreneurial journey culminated in the establishment of Kernel Holding S.A. in 2004. Kernel quickly grew to become the largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil in Ukraine, and a major supplier of agricultural products. In 2007, the company went public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Key Business Strategies
Verevskyi's business acumen is evident in Kernel's strategic moves, including acquisitions and expansions. He expanded his land bank to about 600,000 hectares, and oversaw the delisting of Kernel from the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2023. The company's operations span the entire agricultural value chain, from production to export.
Philanthropy
Andrii's wife, Tetyana Verevska, heads the charity foundation "Vere", which supports young musicians.
