Rise to Success
Kuzyaev graduated with honors from Perm State University in 1987 with a degree in industrial planning. He then worked as an economist and later became an assistant in the Department of Political Economy at Perm State University. In the early 1990s, he co-founded the Perm Mercantile Exchange. He became the President of Perm Financial and Production Group LLC in 1993. From 1996 to 2003, he served as the General Director of CJSC Lukoil-Perm. He was the President of Lukoil Overseas from 2000 to 2014.
