Early Life
Anatoly Sedykh was born in 1964. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a Master of Science in Engineering.
Rise to Success
Sedykh started his career in the metallurgical sector and, in 1989, began a joint venture in scrap-metal recycling. By 1999, he and his partners gained control over the Vyksunsky Metallurgical Plant, which became the foundation of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK). Sedykh served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since July 2017.

Under Sedykh's leadership, OMK has expanded its production capabilities and diversified its product range, supplying high-quality steel products to sectors like oil and gas, construction, and mechanical engineering. OMK's pipes are widely used in pipelines, infrastructure projects, and industrial machinery both in Russia and internationally. Sedykh focused on modernizing production facilities, implementing advanced technologies, and enhancing operational efficiency to maintain OMK's competitive edge. The company has been involved in major projects, including supplying pipes for the Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream pipelines.
