Early Life
Alexandra Schoerghuber (née Stumpf) was born on July 24, 1958, in Frankfurt, Germany. She grew up in Erlenbach am Main and Straubing, as the daughter of a Protestant pastor. After completing her schooling, she trained as a hotel clerk, gaining experience in Germany, Switzerland, and Bermuda. She married Stefan Schörghuber in 1988, and they had three children together.
Rise to Success
Alexandra's career took a significant turn in 2008 when she became the Chairwoman of the board of trustees and a member of the Board of Directors of the Schörghuber Unternehmensgruppe. This marked her rise to leadership within the family business. Prior to this, she held supervisory board and management positions in the family's private sector. She also became Vice President of Arabella Hotelbetriebe AG and took over Arabella Vermögensverwaltung AG in 2008. Her strategic approach and commitment to excellence have solidified the group’s reputation.

Under Alexandra's leadership, the Schörghuber Group has continued to flourish, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and a long-term vision in all aspects of the business. The group's real estate division has focused on developing high-quality residential and commercial properties, while the hospitality arm has strengthened its presence in the luxury hotel market. The Schörghuber Group's beverage division, including the Paulaner Brewery Group, has also flourished under her guidance.
Philanthropy
Alexandra is deeply committed to philanthropy. She has supported various initiatives aimed at supporting education, healthcare, and cultural enrichment. She is also the patron of the Josef-Schörghuber-Stiftung für Münchner Kinder, which supports disadvantaged children. In 2019, she and her children set up the Stefan Schörghuber Foundation, supporting child, youth, and family services, as well as education and scientific research projects.
