Early Life and Education
Alexander Sixt was born in 1979 and comes from a family with a long history in the car rental business. His father, Erich Sixt, transformed the local operation into a global enterprise. Alexander studied at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) as well as a Diploma in Business Administration.
Rise to Success
Alexander joined Sixt in 2009, bringing in his experience gained in Deutsche Bank´s M&A Department in London, and Roland Berger´s Restructuring Department. In 2015, Alexander and his brother Konstantin were appointed to the executive board, and in 2021 they became co-CEOs. Under their leadership, Sixt has expanded its operations and enhanced its digital services.
