Early Life
Alexander Ilyich Klyachin was born on May 18, 1967, in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from Moscow School 57 and later pursued higher education at Moscow State University, where he studied geography. Klyachin furthered his education in the United States, graduating from Oregon State University in 1993 with a degree in geography.
Rise to Success
After a brief period in the finance industry, Klyachin shifted his focus to real estate in the early 2000s. He began acquiring land plots in and around Moscow, setting the stage for his future ventures. In 2006, he founded Azimut Hotels, a hotel chain focused on reconstructing older hotels and buildings in Russian cities. Under his leadership, Azimut became the first Russian hotel chain to expand into the European market.
