Born in Australia in 1941/42, Alan Wilson attended Camberwell Grammar School in Melbourne, matriculating in 1959.
Rise to Success
Wilson's career is closely tied to the Reece Group. He joined the company in 1969, when it was a small hardware and plumbing supply merchant. He became CEO in 1970, and under his leadership, Reece grew to become Australia's largest bathroom and plumbing supplies chain. Wilson served as the Executive Chairman from 2001 until 2022. Today, he continues to serve as an Executive Director.
