Early Life
Yadu Hari Dalmia was born into a family with a strong entrepreneurial background. His father, Jaidayal Dalmia, laid the foundation for the Dalmia Group in 1939. Yadu Hari Dalmia received his education in Calcutta, learning Bangla, and later studied till matriculation in Chirawa. He holds a B. Com (Hons.) degree from Delhi University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Rise to Success
Yadu Hari Dalmia, along with his late brother Jai Hari Dalmia, played a crucial role in the Dalmia Bharat Group's rise to prominence. They took charge of the business in the 1980s, transforming the company into India's fourth-largest cement manufacturer by capacity. Under their leadership, the company expanded from one cement plant to 13 factories by 2020.
