Veronica Squinzi's journey began within the family business, Mapei, a company founded by her grandfather, Rodolfo Squinzi, in 1937. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Management and Industrial Strategy from Università degli Studi di Milano in 1997. Furthering her education, she received an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management in 2002. These academic achievements laid the groundwork for her future leadership roles within Mapei.
Rise to Success
Veronica Squinzi's career at Mapei began in 1997. Initially, she worked in the Management Control Department. In 1999, she joined Mapei's Strategic Planning Department, eventually becoming the Global Development Director. Her responsibilities expanded to coordinate the Administration, Finance, and Control department. In July 2019, she and her brother Marco became joint CEOs, continuing the family's tradition of leadership.
