Suresh Krishna was born on December 24, 1936, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He comes from a well-known business family. His father, T.S. Krishna, was a successful businessman and philanthropist. He received his B.Sc. from Madras Christian College in 1955, followed by M.A. degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Munich.
Rise to Success
Krishna began his career with TVS and Sons before founding Sundram Fasteners Limited (SFL) in 1962. Under his leadership, SFL expanded into a global powerhouse, with 27 factories worldwide. The company manufactures a diverse range of automotive parts. Sundram Fasteners was the first Indian engineering company to receive ISO 9000 certification and the TPM Excellence Award.

Suresh Krishna's strategic vision transformed SFL into a global leader in automotive components manufacturing. He focused on innovation, quality, and expansion. SFL became the principal supplier of radiator caps to General Motors, USA.
