Nikil Viswanathan was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 6, 1987, and was raised in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Stanford University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts/Science and a Master of Arts/Science degree in Computer Science, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. He was also the valedictorian, with the highest GPA in the history of Lubbock High School.
Rise to Success
Viswanathan's entrepreneurial journey began with his co-founding of the social app Down To Lunch with Joseph Lau. The app gained significant popularity, topping the App Store's social category charts. He also created Check In To My Flight, a website that automated flight check-ins for Southwest Airlines flights, gaining over 10,000 users.
