Harry Klagsbrun, born in 1953/1954, is a Swedish billionaire and investor. He graduated from Stockholm University with a B.A. in journalism, earned an MBA from New York University and a Master of Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Rise to Success
Klagsbrun began his career in corporate finance at Smith Barney in New York City in 1982. He then took on the role of Head of Corporate Finance at Svenska Handelsbanken from 1989 to 1995. In 1995, Klagsbrun became the CEO of the Alfred Berg Group. From 2001 to 2006, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management at SEB Group. In October 2006, Klagsbrun joined EQT Partners as a Partner. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Harmar, a private investment company founded in 2020.
