Key Business Strategies
Ostrover has been instrumental in the growth of private credit. His strategy has focused on direct lending to mid-sized businesses, a segment often overlooked by traditional banks. Owl Rock Capital, and later Blue Owl Capital, has made private credit more accessible and affordable. The merger with Dyal Capital was a key move to further expand its offerings. Blue Owl Capital now manages over $200 billion in assets.
